THE JEWISH QUESTION -- FACT OR FANCY

The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the Rising of the Sun unto the Going Down of the same.

OUT OF ZION, THE PERFECTION OF BEAUTY, GOD HATH SHINED...(Psalm 50).

And I saw a Beast (the Great American Order of things) rise up out of the Sea....(Revelation 13).

Zion is the Light of the World. It is also the fount of Great Darkness (the Great Darkness) in the earth. "See, I have set before thee, good and evil..." Thus it is true, the cause of world unrest is Zionism--Zionism in the West and Zionism in the East. In the West it appeared 200 years too soon (open the pages of the Book of Isaiah at the time of the American Revolution); in the East it went backwards, away from the westward course of the Sun and Moon (open the Book of Hosea at the time of the founding of the Zionist State in Palestine).

For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes, the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

And the vision is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed (understand Revelation 5:1...KJV), which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed.

And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precepts of men:

Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: FOR THE WISDOM OF THEIR WISE MEN SHALL PERISH, AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR PRUDENT MEN SHALL BE HID...(Isaiah 29:8-14; 1 Corinthians 1:19-28...KJV).

For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they might be condemned who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness...(2 Thessalonians 2:8-12).

(Where the following commentaries on the PROTOCOLS OF ZION use the word "Jew" read "Zionist" where it applies, but at last read Capitalist and Zionist, and see the entire history of the Western world, from the time of Christ to our own time, coming to pass before our eyes. [It is, indeed, a terrible thing that God has done with the people of the Covenant]. Understand the theological forces--matters of interpretation--that have separated true Jews and Christians from each other all these centuries; and the historical forces which also, in the great mystic developments of both faiths, are about to bring them together again in a great historic way. See how the Light of the Moon and the Light of the Sun have carried both streams of faith to these Western ends of the earth, to all of the events that are presently unfolding in the world, and to the words of the prophets at Isaiah 30:25,26 and Romans, chapter 11...KJV. See the Light in each coming to fruition. See the Great Darkness in Christianity and Judaism coming to fruition as well. These Dark ones are the true Elders of Zion):

FOR THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY DOTH ALREADY WORK...(2 Thessalonians 2:7).

(At the time of the rise of the Great Solar Mystery 2,000 years ago [Malachi, chapter 4], Heaven, in keeping with the structure and dimensions of the Sacred Oracle, set apart a segment of the Jewish people--the natural branches--and charged them with keeping the Letter of the Torah until the fulness of time. These were to build a fence around the Torah--set a hedge--and then they were to get inside of that fence themselves, and stay there until they were commanded by the Spirit to come out of it in the last days [Romans, chapter 11; Luke 5:39; Ecclesiastes 10:17; Proverbs 27:18; Daniel 3:20-27]. Those Jews who broke through this hedge, and tore down this fence over the centuries--but who did not come all the way out and adopt...not Christianity but at the very least the ethical and social implications, as well as the historical directions of Christ's teachings which are all rooted in the true meanings of the Torah--became violators of the Torah, breakers of the Covenant and the source of all the troubles [Divine judgments] affecting the Jewish people throughout the centuries. They are not alone the source of these troubles, however, for in their forsaking the precepts of the Law, and mingling themselves among the nations, they not only entangled themselves in the intrigues of these nations but among the wicked ones in Christianity--the great anti-Christs of the earth --who were, indeed, appointed to these judgments).

Then the angel that talked with me went forth and said unto me, Lift up thine eyes and see what this is that goeth forth.

And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an Ephah that goeth forth (an Omer is a tenth part of an Ephah...Exodus 16:15-20; 36; 2 Corinthians 8:10-15). He said, moreover, this is their resemblance through all the earth.

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead, and this is a Woman (Religion) that sitteth in the midst of the Ephah.

And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the Ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

And then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out Two Women (Bondage and Apostasy), and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork; and they lifted up the Ephah between the earth and the heaven.

Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the Ephah?

And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base...(Zechariah 5:5-11).

They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets divine for money.

They lean upon the Lord, and say, is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us...Therefore Zion shall be ploughed for thy sake...(Micah 3:1-12...KJV).

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the Darkness of this world, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH (political, economic and religious) PLACES....(Ephesians 6:10-19).

THE DEARBORN INDEPENDENT__The chief difficulty in writing about THE "JEWISH" QUESTION is the supersensitiveness of Jews and non-Jews concerning the whole matter. There is a vague feeling that even to openly use the word "Jew," or to expose it nakedly to print, is somehow improper. Polite evasions like "Hebrew" and "Semite," both of which are subject to the criticism of inaccuracy, are timidly essayed, and people pick their way gingerly as if the whole subject were forbidden, until some courageous Jewish thinker came straight out with the good old word "Jew," and then the constraint is relieved and the air cleared. THE WORD "JEW" IS NOT AN EPITHET; IT IS A NAME, ANCIENT AND HONORABLE, WITH SIGNIFICANCE FOR EVERY PERIOD OF HUMAN HISTORY, PAST PRESENT AND TO COME....THE JEW REMAINS (nonetheless) THE ENIGMA OF THE WORLD.

Gentile sensitiveness on this point is best expressed by the desire for silence--"Why discuss it at all?" is the attitude. Such an attitude is itself a proof that there is a problem which we would evade if we could. "Why discuss it at all?"--the keen thinker clearly sees in the implications of such a question, the existence of a problem whose discussion or suppression will not always be within the choice of easy-going minds.

Is there a Jewish Question in Russia? Unquestionably, in its most virulent form. Is it necessary to meet that Question in Russia? Undoubtedly, meet it from every angle ALONG WHICH LIGHT AND HEALING MAY COME. Well, the percentage of the Jewish population of Russia is just one percent more than it is in the United States...yet in Russia their genius has enabled them to attain a degree of power which has completely baffled the Russian mind. Whether you go to Rumania, Russia, AUSTRIA, or Germany, or anywhere else that the Jewish Question has come to the forefront as a vital issue, YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT THE PRINCIPLE CAUSE IS THE OUTWORKING OF THE JEWISH GENIUS TO ACHIEVE THE POWER OF CONTROL.(Is this not the work of God)?

The Mystery of Iniquity in the 20th century.

Here in the United States it is the fact of this remarkable minority--a sparse Jewish ingredient of three percent in a nation of 110,000,000--attaining in 50 years a degree of control that would be impossible to a ten times larger group of any other race, that creates the Jewish Question here. Three percent of any other people would scarcely occasion comment, because we could not meet with a representative of them wherever we went IN HIGH PLACES--IN THE INNERMOST SECRECY OF THE COUNCILS OF THE BIG FOUR AT VERSAILLES; IN THE SUPREME COURT; IN THE COUNCILS OF THE WHITE HOUSE; IN THE VAST DISPOSITIONS OF WORLD FINANCE--wherever there is power to get or use. Yet we meet with Jews everywhere in the upper circles, LITERALLY EVERYWHERE THERE IS POWER. He has the brains, the initiative, the penetrative vision which almost automatically projects him to the top, AND AS A CONSEQUENCE HE IS MORE MARKED THAN ANY OTHER RACE (Genesis 4;1-16; Deuteronomy 6:5-9; Revelation 13:15-18).

That is where the Jewish Question begins. It begins in very simple terms--How does the Jew so habitually and so restlessly gravitate to the highest places? WHO PUTS HIM THERE? WHY IS HE PUT THERE? WHAT DOES HE DO THERE? WHAT DOES THE FACT OF HIS BEING THERE MEAN TO THE WORLD? That is the Jewish Question in its origin. From these points it goes on to others, and whether the trend becomes pro-Jewish or anti-Semitic depends on the amount of prejudice brought to the inquiry, and whether it becomes pro-Humanity depends on the amount of insight and intelligence.

The use of the word Humanity in connection with the word Jew usually throws a side-meaning which may not be intended. In this connection it is usually understood that the humanity ought to be shown toward the Jew. THERE IS JUST A GREAT AN OBLIGATION UPON THE JEW TO SHOW HIS HUMANITY TOWARD THE WHOLE RACE. THE JEW HAS BEEN TOO LONG ACCUSTOMED TO THINK OF HIMSELF AS EXCLUSIVELY THE CLAIMANT ON THE HUMANITARIANISM OF SOCIETY; SOCIETY HAS A LARGE CLAIM AGAINST HIM THAT HE CEASE HIS EXCLUSIVENESS, THAT HE CEASE EXPLOITING THE WORLD; THAT HE CEASE MAKING JEWISH GROUPS THE END AND ALL OF HIS GAINS, AND THAT HE BEGIN TO FULFILL, IN A SENSE, WHAT HIS EXCLUSIVENESS HAS NEVER YET ENABLED HIM TO FULFILL, THE ANCIENT PROPHECY THAT THROUGH HIM ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH SHOULD BE BLESSED.

The Jew cannot go on forever filling the role of suppliant for the world's humanitarianism; HE MUST HIMSELF SHOW THAT QUALITY TO A SOCIETY WHICH SERIOUSLY SUSPECTS HIS HIGHER AND MORE POWERFUL GROUPS OF EXPOLITING IT with a pitiless rapacity which IN ITS WIDE-FLUNG AND LONG DRAWN-OUT DISTRESS MAY BE DESCRIBED AS AN ECONOMIC PROGRAM AGAINST A RATHER HELPLESS HUMANITY. FOR IT IS TRUE THAT SOCIETY IS AS HELPLESS BEFORE THE WELL-ORGANIZED EXTORTIONS OF CERTAIN FINANCIAL GROUPS, AS HUDDLED GROUPS OF RUSSIAN JEWS WERE HELPLESS AGAINST THE ANTI-SEMITIC MOB. AND AS IN RUSSIA, SO IN AMERICA, IT IS THE POOR JEW WHO SUFFERS FOR THE DELINQUENCIES OF THE RICH EXPLOITER OF HIS RACE.

This series of articles is already being met by an organized barrage by mail and wire and voice, every single item of which carries the wail of persecution. One would think that a heartless and horrible attack were being made on a most pitiable and helpless people--until one looks at the letterheads of the magnates who write, and at the financial ratings of those who protest and at the membership of the organizations whose responsible heads hysterically demand retraction. And always in the background there is the threat of a boycott, a threat which has practically sealed up the columns of every publication in America against even the mildest discussion of the Jewish Question.

The Jewish Question in America cannot be concealed forever by threats against publications, nor by the propagandist publication of matter extremely and invariably favorable to everything JEWISH (ZIONIST). It is here and it cannot be twisted into something else by the adroit use of propaganda, nor can it be forever silenced by threats. THE JEWS OF THE UNITED STATES CAN BEST SERVE THEMSELVES AND THEIR FELLOW-JEWS ALL OVER THE WORLD BY LETTING DROP THEIR FAR TOO READY CRY OF "ANTI-SEMITISM," by adopting a franker tone than that which befits a helpless victim, AND BY SEEING WHAT THE JEWISH QUESTION IS AND HOW IT BEHOOVES EVERY JEW WHO LOVES HIS PEOPLE TO HELP SOLVE IT. ANOTHER WAVE OF ANTI-SEMITISM SWEEPS ACROSS EUROPE, U.S.

Last year Egyptian state television celebrated the Islamic holy month of Ramadan by broadcasting a series based on The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an infamous skein of lies long used to whip up anti-Semitic sentiments. Virulent Jew-hating is a national sport in much of the Arab world. Addresses by Muslim clerics calling upon God to "defeat the usurper Jews...O God destroy them...O God annihilate them soon" and calling upon "Muslim brothers" to show no mercy [or] compassion on the Jews, their blood, their money, their flesh" are typical fare. None of this is new. BUT A NEW ERA OF ANTI-SEMITISM IS SWEEPING EUROPE AND A NEW KIND OF ANTI-SEMITISM IS PUTTING DOWN ROOTS HERE (in America).

In Europe violence against Jews is rising. The problem has grown particularly acute in France...In October, 2000, demonstrators in the Place de la Republique agitating on behalf of Palestinians shouted "Death to Jews!" Not Israelis, mind you, Jews. Synagogues, homes, and businesses have been torched...It might be too late. According to one New York Times report, "Swastikas, slogans and physical assaults against Jews in Europe have reached a frequency not seen since the 1930s when Fascism was on the rise." In Britain anti-Jewish incidents have risen 75 percent from last year. Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci, writing last year, found it "shameful that in Italy there is a march of people dressed up as suicide bombers...holding up photographs of Israeli leaders on whose foreheads they have drawn swastikas, and inciting hatred against Jews." Germany's Heribert Prantl, writing in Sueddeutsch Zeitung, concluded it has been a long time since the hatred of Jews--once disguised as anti-Zionism--has been so socially acceptable as it is today...

Here in the U.S., anti-Zionism shades into anti-Semitism as well, and sometimes is no more than a mask for it. Often it's the pernicious, pervasive subtle stuff. Yet at a rally against the Iraq war in Berkeley, organizers forbade the participation of a speaker who opposed the war as well, but who is Jewish and believes Israel has a right to exist...

Witness also the many liberal critiques (joined by Buchanan) of how a "neoconservative cabal" controls the foreign policy of a gullible George W. Bush. Who are these neocons? Paul Wolfowitz, Deputy Defense Secretary; Douglas Feith, Pentagon policy chief; Richard Perle, Defense Policy Board member. Jews...None of these resembles anything like a violent assault or the burning of a synagogue. But they suggest a nasty undercurrent. To borrow an expression from a few years ago, IT WOULD BE UNFORTUNATE IF AMERICANS ONCE AGAIN FAILED TO CONNECT THE DOTS.

(continued)...There has been used in this series the term "INTERNATIONAL JEW." It is susceptible to two interpretations: one, the Jew wherever he may be; the other, THE JEW WHO EXERCISES INTERNATIONAL CONTROL. THE REAL CONTENTION OF THE WORLD IS WITH THE LATTER AND HIS SATELLITES, WHETHER JEW OR GENTILE.

NOW, THIS INTERNATIONAL TYPE OF JEW, THIS GRASPER AFTER WORLD-CONTROL, THIS ACTUAL POSSESSOR AND WIELDER OF WORLD-CONTROL IS A VERY UNFORTUNATE CONNECTION FOR HIS RACE TO HAVE. THE MOST UNFORTUNATE THING ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL JEW, FROM THE STANDPOINT OF THE ORDINARY JEW, IS THAT THE INTERNATIONAL TYPE IS ALSO A JEW. (Of course the Neteuri Karta would by and large differ in this matter). And the significance of this is that the type does not grow anywhere else than on a Jewish stem. There is no other racial or national type which puts forth this kind of person. IT IS NOT MERELY THAT THERE ARE A FEW JEWS AMONG INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CONTROLLERS; IT IS THAT THESE WORLD-CONTROLLERS ARE EXCLUSIVELY JEWS. This is a phenomenon which creates an unfortunate situation for those Jews who are not and never shall be world-controllers, who are the plain people of the Jewish race. If world-control were mixed, like the control, say, of a biscuit business, then the occasional Jews we might find in those higher financial altitudes would not constitute a problem at all; the problem would then be limited to the existence of world-control in the hands of a few men, of whatever race or lineage they might be. BUT SINCE WORLD-CONTROL IS AN AMBITION WHICH HAS ONLY BEEN ACHIEVED BY JEWS, and not by any of the methods usually adopted by would-be world conquerors, IT BECOMES INEVITABLE THAT THE QUESTION SHOULD CENTER IN THAT REMARKABLE RACE.

THIS BRINGS ANOTHER DIFFICULTY: IN DISCUSSING THIS GROUP OF WORLD-CONTROLLERS UNDER THE NAME OF JEWS (AND THEY ARE JEWS), IT IS NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO STOP AND DISTINGUISH THE GROUP OF JEWS THAT ARE MEANT. The candid reader can usually determine that, but the Jew who is in a state of mind to be injured is sometimes pained by reading as a charge against himself what was intended for the upper group. JEWISH HUMAN-RIGHTS GROUP TAKES ON ANTI-SEMITIC BOOK

If anti-Semitism is a rogue religion , its reigning bible is "THE PROTOCOLS OF ZION." The Protocols, first issued in Russia a century ago, is a notoriously fraudulent manifesto. It purports to spell out a Jewish plot to control the world by secretly manipulating the financial markets, the media, and other levers of Power.

Though it was soon exposed as a paranoid hoax forged by the czar's secret police, "The Protocols" didn't vanish. In fact, its vitriol has never had wider circulation than it does today, because of the internet and the "New Anti-Semitism: that watchdog groups are chronicling, particularly in Europe and the Muslim world. In response, specialists from the Simon Weisenthal Center, a Jewish human-rights group, have written a book that scholars say is the first item-by-item rebuttal of the undying "Protocols."

Titled "Dismantling the Big Lie," the new book tackles a grim task. "The Protocols" is a dense polemic, a supposed master plot written by Jewish "learned elders" who regard non-Jews as "a flock of sheep, and we are their wolves." For instance, Protocol 7 ("A Prophecy of World-wide War") declares "we must create unrest, dissension, and mutual animosities throughout Europe and, with the help of her relationship, on other continents."

In their refutation, "Dismantling the Big Lie" authors Steven Jacobs and Mark Weitzman say such a goal "is the very antithesis of what both ancient Israelites and contemporary Jews regard as the ideal of social harmony...of attaining shalom, peace." (Our authors do not understand the issues here, and are unmindful of God's judgments and the means--the delusions--God employs in the pursuit of those judgments). Jacobs and Weitzman cite moral-ethical examples from Jewish scripture, postbiblical Jewish societies and modern Jewish thought about the primacy of peace between Jews and neighbors. (What, we ask, has either Zionism or Capitalism to do with these ethics? or with peace? and what concern have they for the precepts of Jewish scripture? seeing how each exists in violation of them from inception)?

By systematically challenging all 24 protocols in this way, the new book is unique, said Fred Schweitzer; director of the Holocaust Research Center at Manhattan College, a Catholic school in New York, who reviewed the manuscript. "Its point-by-point rebuttals, citing Talmudic and biblical texts and historic attitudes and examples, are without precedent," Schweitzer said. (It still doesn't comprehend the issues. God is not judging Torah-true Jews. He is judging Zionists and Capitalists--apostates--Jews who say they are Jews but are not. Why? For crimes against humanity and nature).

"Dismantling the Big Lie" (Ktav $18.95) was developed under the auspices of the Weisenthal Center's Snider Social Action Institute (?), named for Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers chairman Ed Snider, who gave the center $5 million. The book reprints eight "Protocols" book covers (all craven images of Jews) from various times and countries, and runs the complete, toxic text, translated into English...

Though some booksellers refuse to handle "The Protocols," it is readily available in many parts of the world and through e-commerce. Arabic translations are published by government presses in Egypt and are best sellers. Radioislam.org makes it available in a dozen languages free. The Palestinian group Hamas cites "The Protocols" in its charter as justification for the destruction of Israel. Egyptian and Syrian TV heavily referenced it in recent anti-Semitic mini-series.

The Alexandrian Library in Egypt, as part of an exhibition of holy books of monotheistic faiths, displayed a copy of "The Protocols" in the Judaism section, removing it only when United Nations cultural officials raised objections. Schweitzer, the Manhatten College historian, said he sees "The Protocols" for sale regularly at a Nation of Islam bookstand in New York...

"The Protocols" is "such nonsense," Islamic council spokesman Ibrahim Cooper said in an interview. "But it just keeps returning out there." The center plans to translate the rebuttal book into Arabic, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Persian, Cooper said.

THE INTERNATIONAL JEW, AS ALREADY DEFINED, RULES NOT BECAUSE HE IS RICH, BUT BECAUSE IN A MOST MARKED DEGREE HE POSSESSES THE COMMERCIAL AND MASTERFUL GENIUS OF HIS RACE, AND AVAILS HIMSELF OF A RACIAL LOYALTY AND SOLIDARITY THE LIKE OF WHICH EXISTS IN NO OTHER GROUP. IN OTHER WORDS, TRANSFER TO-DAY THE WORLD CONTROL OF THE INTERNATIONAL JEW TO THE HANDS OF THE HIGHEST COMMERCIALLY TALENTED GROUP OF GENTILES, AND THE WHOLE FABRIC OF WORLD-CONTROL WOULD EVENTUALLY FALL TO PIECES, BECAUSE THE GENTILE LACKS A CERTAIN QUALITY, BE IT HUMAN OR DIVINE, BE IT NATURAL OR ACQUIRED, THAT THE JEW POSSESSES.

This, of course, the modern Jew denies. There is a new position taken by modernists among the Jews which constitutes a denial that the Jew differs from any other man except in matters of religion. "Jew" they say is not a racial designation, but a religious designation like "Episcopalian", "Catholic", "Prebyterian." This is the argument used in newspaper offices in the Jews' protests against giving the Jewish designation to those of their people who are implicated in crime -- "You don't give the religious classifications of other people who are arrested," the editor is told, "why should you do it with Jews?" The appeal to religious tolerance always wins, and is sometimes useful in diverting attention from other things.

Well if the Jews are only religiously differentiated from the rest of the world, the phenomenon grows stranger still...There is really nothing in his religion to differentiate the Jew from the rest of mankind, as far as the moral content of that religion is concerned; and if there were he would have overcome that by the fact that his Jewish religion supplies the moral structure for both of the other great religions. Moreover it is stated that there are among English speaking nations, 2,000,000 Jews who acknowledge their race and not their religion, while 1,000,000 are classified as agnostic -- are these any less Jews than the others? THE WORLD DOES NOT THINK SO. THE AUTHORITIVE STUDENTS OF HUMAN DIFFERENCES DO NOT THINK SO. An Irishman who grows indifferent to the Church is still an Irishman, AND IT WOULD SEEM EQUALLY TRUE that a Jew who grows indifferent to the Synagogue is still a Jew. These world-controlling Jews at the top of affairs, then, are there by virtue of, among other things, certain qualities which are inherent in their Jewish natures. The Talmud is Judaism's recognition that the Torah is indeed comprised of precepts and statutes, historical allegories and epic metaphors, that do require the insights of those learned in the ways of Law. By the time the Mishna is codified, toward the end of the 2nd century A.D., and the Talmuds are composed over the following centuries, the belief against Christianity is dogmatically sealed in the minds of the Rabbis, for reasons that are very understandable. Even if they wanted to include something in their own ongoing commentaries that came close, or supported any of the doctrines of Christianity, they would be compelled to reconfigure such ideas in purely non-Christic terms. Of course they were not entirely successful. A reading, for instance, of Everyman's Talmud, The Major Teachings of the Rabbinic Sages, is a basic primer for the reconciliation of the two faiths--when one understands the Kabbalistic foundations of Christianity that is...

JUDAISM'S HOLIEST BOOK

The Talmud is Judaism's holiest book(s)...Its authority takes precedence over the Old Testament in Judaism. Evidence may be found in the Talmud itself. Erubin 21b (Soncino edition): "My son, be more careful in the observance of the words of the Scribes than in the words of the Torah."

THE TALMUD NULLIFIES THE BIBLE

The Jewish Scribes claim the Talmud is partly a collection of traditions Moses gave gave them in oral form. (Which it is in its earliest form). These had not been written down in Jesus' time. Christ condemned the traditions of the Mishna (early Talmud) (which he didn't) and those who taught it...because the Talmud nullifies the teachings of the Holy Bible (which it does in places)..

Shmuel Safrai in The Literature of the Sages Part One (p.164), points out that in chapters 4 and 5 of the Talmud's Gittim Tractate, the Talmud nullifies the Biblical teaching concerning money-lending. "Hillel decrees the prozbul for the betterment of the world. The prozbul is a legal fiction which allows debts to be collected after the Sabbatical year and it was Hillel's intention thereby to overcome the fear that money-lenders had of losing their money." (Something to consider, seeing how the evil money-lenders are now in charge of the Western world. The prozbul nevertheless is a rendering of Deut.15:1-3. The conflict lies in the question, Who is a foreigner, and who is my brother? Jews must give an account and reshape their thought on the question).

The famous warning of Jesus Christ about the traditions of men that voids Scripture (Mark 7:1-13), is in fact, a direct reference to the Talmud. (The authors contend that Jesus condemned the Mishna, but this is not true. The Mishna is that very basis of Talmudic reasoning that the early Jewish-Christians--the Essenes--secretly brought over and sowed among the Rabbis to begin with. It is all Kabbalah) ...Unfortunately, due to the abysmal ignorance of our day, the widespread "Judeo-Christian" notion is that the Old Testament is the supreme book of Judaism. But this is not so. The Pharisees teach for doctrine the commandments of men. (Which is true in part, but so does Christianity). The Talmudic commentary on the Bible is their supreme law, and not the Bible itself. That commentary does indeed, as Jesus said, void the laws of God, not uphold them. As students of the Talmud we know this is to be true.

There is a tiny Jewish sect which makes considerable effort to eschew Talmud and adhere to the Old Testament alone. These are the Karaites, a group which, historically, has been the most hated and severely persecuted by orthodox Jewish rabbinate...

Erubin 21b. Whosoever disobeys the rabbis deserves death and will be punished by being boiled in hot excrement in hell.

Moed Kattan 17a. If a Jew is tempted to do evil he should go to a city where he is not known and do the evil there.

Sanhedrin 57a. A Jew need not pay a gentile ("Cuthean") the wages owed him for work.

Sanhedrin 57a. When a Jew murders a gentile ("Cuthean"), there will be no death penalty. What a Jew steals from a gentile he may keep.

Sanhedrin 58b. If a heathen (gentile) hits a Jew, the gentile must be killed.

Baba Kamma 37b. If an ox of an Israelite gores an ox of a Canaanite there is no liability; but if an ox of a Canaanite gores an ox of an Israelite...the payment is due in full.

Baba Kamma 37b. The gentiles are outside the protection of the law and God has "exposed their money to Israel."

Baba Mezia 24a. If a Jew finds an object lost by a gentile ("heathen") it does not have to be returned. (Affirmed also in Baba Kamma 113b). Sanhedrin 76a: God will not spare a Jew who "marries his daughter to an old man or takes a wife for his infant son or returns a lost article to a Cuthean..."

Baba Kamma 113a. Jews may use lies ("subterfuges") to circumvent a gentile. (We can understand this one).

Yebamoth 98a. All gentile children are animals. (Of course those who behave as animals are as animals).

Abodah Zarah 36b. Gentile girls are in a state of niddah (filth) from birth.

Abodah 22a-22b. Gentiles prefer sex with cows.

INSULTS AGAINST BLESSED MARY (Satu Mare)

Sanhedrin 106b, says Jesus' mother was a whore: "She who was the descendant of princes and governors played the harlot with carpenters." (Consider Zechariah 1:20,21). Also in footnote #2 to Shabbath 104b of the Soncino edition, it is stated that in the "uncensored" text of the Talmud it is written that Jesus mother, "Miriam the hairdresser," had sex with many men.

Yeshu said, He who knows the Father and Mother will be called the son of a harlot... (Gospel of Thomas 105).

GLOATS OVER CHRIST DYING YOUNG

A passage from Sanhedrin 106 gloats over the early age at which Jesus died. "Hast thou heard how old Balaam (Jesus) was?...He replied: It is not actually stated but since it is written, Bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days it follows that he was thirty-three or thirty-four years old."

Sanhedrin 43a says Jesus (Yeshu) was executed because he practiced sorcery.

(The Book of Revelation also passes a sentence against Balaam, a sentence which passes to the whole of Christianity...Rev.2:12-17. And a charge of sorcery can be levied against Christianity as well, as it says of the the Antichrist in the last days: And he decieveth them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast...Rev.13:12-14).

Sanhedrin 43a. "On the eve of Passover Yeshu was hanged...Do you suppose that he was one for whom a defense could be made? Was he not a Mesith (enticer)?"...

And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death (Christianity has), and he be to be put to death, AND THOU HANG HIM ON A TREE:

His Body shall not remain all Night upon the Tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him That Day (for he that is hanged is accursed of God); that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance...(Deuteronomy 21:22,23; Galatians 3:10-13).

For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto them that are saved it is the Power of God.

Rosh Hashaah 17a. Christians (minnim) and others who reject the Talmud will go to hell and be punished there for all generations.

Sanhedrin 90a. Those who read the New Testament ("uncanonical books") will have no portion in the world to come.

Sabbath 116a. Jews must destroy the books of Christians...

NON-JEWS ARE NOT HUMAN (Please consider Ecclesiastes 3:16-22).

The Talmud specifically defines all who are not Jews as non-human animals, and specifically dehumanizes gentiles as not being descendants of Adam:

Kerithoth 6b. Uses of Oil of Anointing, Our Rabbis have taught: He who pours the oil of anointing over cattle over cattle or vessels is not guilty; if over gentiles or the dead, he is not guilty. The law relating to cattle and vessels is right, for it is written: "Upon the flesh of man (Adam) shall it not be poured (Exodus 30:32); and cattle and vessels are not man (Adam)...

Yebamoth 61a. "It was taught: And so did R. Simeon ben Yohai state that the graves of gentiles (goyim) do not impart levitical uncleanness, by an ohel...for it is said, 'And ye my sheep the sheep of my pasture, are men (Adam),' (Ezekiel 34:31), you are called men (Adam) but the idolaters are not called men (Adam)."

The Mosaic law states that touching a Human Corpse or grave imparts uncleanness to those who touch it. But the Talmud here teaches that if a Jew touches the grave of a gentile, it does not make him unclean, since gentiles are not human (literally, Adam).

Baba Mezia 114b. "Said he (Rabbah) to him: Art thou not a priest: why then dost thou stand in a cemetery? He replied: Has the Master not studied the law of purity? For it has been taught: R. Simeon Ben Yohai said: The graves of gentiles (goyim) do not defile, for it is written (again, Ezekiel 34:30,31).

Since the supposed Biblical proof text (Ezekiel 34:30,31) repeatedly cited above...in reality does not prove that only Jews are human (Adam), it is evident that Talmudic sages who asserted the preceding absurdities about gentiles were already anti-gentile racists or ideologues who, in desperate search of some proof of their position, distorted an Old Testament passage in order to justify their bigotry...

MOSES MAIMONIDES: ADVOCATE OF EXTERMINATION

"Moses Maimonides is considered the greatest codifier and philosopher in Jewish history. He is often affectionately referred to as the Rambam"...Here is what (the Rambam) taught concerning saving people's lives, especially concerning saving the lives of gentiles and Christians, or even Jews who dared to deny the "divine inspiration" of the Talmud:

Maimonides, Mishna Torah, (Moznaim Publishing Corporation, Brooklyn, New York, 1990, chapter 10, English Translation), p.184: "Accordingly, if we see an idolater (gentile) being swept away or drowning in the river, we should not help him. If we see that his life is in danger, we should not save him."..."It is a mitzvah (religious duty), however, to eradicate Jewish traitors, minnim, and apikorsim, and to cause them to descend to the pit of destruction, since they cause difficulty to the Jews and sway the people away from God, as did Jesus of Nazareth and his students, and Tzadok, Baithos, and their students. May the name of the wicked rot."...

The commentary also states that the students of Tzadok were defined as those Jews who deny the truth of the Talmud and who uphold only the written law (i.e. the Old Testament).

According to Maimonides' Principles, p.5, Maimonides "spent twelve years extracting every decision and law from the Talmud, and arranging them all into 14 systematic volumes." The work was finally completed in 1180, and was called Mishna Torah, or "Code of the Torah."...In the Mishna Torah Maimonides taught that...gentiles are not human..."neither gentiles nor cattle are susceptible to any uncleanness. (They are irrelevant to the precept or statute in question)."

The Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 37a, restricts the duty to save life to only Jewish lives. The book of Hebrew censorship, written by Jews themselves (Hesronot He-shas), notes that some Talmud texts use the universalist phrase: "Whoever destroys the life of a single human being...it is as if he had destroyed an entire world; and whoever preserves the life of a single human being...it is as if he had preserved an entire world." However, Hesronot Ha-shas points out that these are not the authentic words of the original Talmud...the original Talmud text states that "whoever preserves a single soul of Israel, it is as if he had preserved an entire world." The original Talmud text sanctions only the saving of Jewish lives. (On the other hand):

PERSPECTIVES ON THE 'ST. JOHN PASSION' AND THE JEWS

Among Martin Luther's best-known writings today is his screed "On the Jews and Their Lies," from 1543. There Luther suggested sanctions for Jews who would not embrace his Christianity: burn their places of worship, destroy their homes, seize their prayer books and Talmudic writings and finally expel them from areas of Europe...

Now that Bach's indebtedness to Luther has come to be widely acknowledged, listeners could easily assume that Bach harbored hostility to Jews and, accordingly, that his music projects such hostility. Throw in his engagement with the Gospel of John, with its continual harping "on the Jews" as inimical to Jesus, his followers and truth in general, and one might reasonably wonder whether there is even any room for discussion...

John contains many references to "the Jews," and no attentive reader can fail to notice that they are overwhelmingly negative. In this Gospel, the cosmos is engaged in a battle. On one side, there are God the Father, Good, Heaven, Light, and Jesus and his followers. On the other, Satan, Evil, the World, Darkness and "the Jews"...

The puzzling thing, from a historical point of view, is why John calls Jesus' opponents "the Jews" when he knows that Jesus was a Jew...as were his disciples...In a significant bit of wordplay by John, The Jewish high priest Caiaphas unwittingly prophesies when he provides the historically most plausible reason for "the Jews" to hand Jesus over to the Romans (John 11:49-52; 18:14): "It would be good that one man be put to death instead of the people," this because of the social unrest the one man, Jesus, would cause during the pilgrimage festival of Passover...

In spite of John's notion that Jesus "is the lamb of God who takes away the world's sin" (1:29)...the sad fact remains, as Samuel Sandmel observed in his book A Jewish Understanding of the New Testament, that "in its utility for later Jew-haters, the Fourth Gospel is pre-eminent among the New testament writings."

JEWISH DECEPTION AND DISSIMULATION

The response of the othodox rabbis to documentation regarding the racism and hatred in the Talmud is simply to brazenly lie, in keeping with the Talmud's Baba Kamma 113a which states that Jews may use lies ("subterfuge") to circumvent a gentile.

The Simon Weisenthal Center, a multi-million dollar rabbinical propaganda center dispatched Rabbi Daniel Landes in 1995 to deny that the Talmud dehumanizes non-Jews. "This is utter rot," he said. His proof? Why, his own word, of course...

In 1994, Rabbi Tzvi Marx, director of Applied Education at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem, made a remarkable admission concerning how Jews in the past have issued two sets of texts: the authentic Talmud texts with which they instruct their own youths in the Talmud schools (kollel) and "censured and amended" versions which they disseminate to the gullible goyim for public consumption...

(The authors' reasonings begin to fall apart now, just as Bar Tzadoc's does, when they speak of things beyond their understanding, as if they understood them):

It is not for nothing that the authoritive edition of the Talmud is known as the Babylonian Talmud. As Christians misled by their Judaizing preachers and popes are increasingly consulting Jewish rabbinic sources for a "pure" understanding of the Old Testament, they are unknowingly consulting the occult.

Judaism is the religion of the Pharisees and the patrimony of Babylon, from whence the Talmudic and Kabbalistic traditions of Judaism ultimately derive. Orthodox Judaism's other sacred book, the Kabbalah, is filled with astrological teachings, fortune-telling, gematria, necromancy and demonology...Furthermore, the Israeli "Star of David" is actually nothing of the kind, but rather an occult hexagram which became associated with the Khazars in 14th century Bohemia. (The mis-named "state of Israel" was founded in 1948 in an alliance between Jewish Communists and atheistic Zionists, with crucial U.N. recognition provided by Soviet Communist dictator Joseph Stalin)...

Orthodox rabbis place curses, cast spells and imagine they have powers greater than God, derived from their study of the Sefer Yeyzirah (a book of Kabbalistic magic). Christians are trafficking in Babylonian paganism when they defer to the rabbis of Judaism.

Christianity is the only true religion of the Bible. It was founded by Israelites who adhered to the Torah and who recognized in Christ's gospel of salvation through grace, the fulfillment of the Old Testament. ANOTHER TRADITION WAS THAT TO DECORATE ONE'S STORE WINDOW WITH LIGHTS OR COLORS, OR TO DISPLAY ONE'S STOCK OF GOODS ATTRACTIVELY IN THE VIEW OF THE PUBLIC, WAS A CONTEMPTIBLE AND UNDERHANDED METHOD OF TEMPTING A BROTHER TRADESMAN'S CUSTOMERS AWAY FROM HIM. STILL ANOTHER TRADITION WAS THAT IT WAS STRICTLY UNETHICAL...TO HANDLE MORE THAN ONE LINE OF GOODS (WALMART)! If one sold tea, it was the best reason in the world why he should not sell teaspoons. As for advertising, the thing would have been so brazen and bold that public opinion would have put the advertiser out of business. The proper demeanor for a merchant was to seem reluctant to part with his goods.

One may readily imagine what happened when the Jewish merchant bustled into the midst of this jungle of traditions. He simply broke them all. (Wasn't he a part of these traditions)? In those days tradition had all the force of a divinely promulgated moral law and in consequence of his initiative the Jew was regarded as a great offender. (Such charges may be true of one class of Jews, but certainly not of the true religious Jew). A MAN WHO WOULD BREAK THESE TRADE TRADITIONS WOULD STOP AT NOTHING...

(Continued)...The Jew was anxious to sell. If he could not sell one article to a customer, he had another on hand to offer him. The Jew's stores became bazaars, forerunners of our modern department stores, and the old English custom of one store for one line of goods was broken up. The Jew went after trade, pursued it, persuaded it. He was the originator of "a quick turnover and small profits." He originated the installment plan. The one state of affairs he could not endure was business at a standstill, and to start it moving he would do anything. He was the first advertiser--in a day when even to announce in the public prints the location of your store was to intimate to the public that you were in financial difficulties, were about to go to the wall and were trying the last desperate expedient to which no self-respecting merchant would stoop.

It was as easy as child's play to connect this energy with dishonesty. The Jew was not playing the game, at least so the staid English merchant thought. As a matter of fact he was playing the game to get it all in his own hands--which he has practically done.

THE JEW HAS SHOWN THE SAME ABILITY EVER SINCE. HIS POWER OF ANALYZING THE MONEY CURRENTS AMOUNTS TO AN INSTINCT. HIS ESTABLISHMENT IN ONE COUNTRY REPRESENTED ANOTHER BASE FROM WHICH THE MEMBERS OF HIS RACE COULD OPERATE. WHETHER BY THE NATURAL OUTWORKING OF INNATE GIFTS, OR THE DELIBERATE PLAN OF RACE UNITY AND LOYALTY, ALL JEWISH TRADING COMMUNITIES HAD RELATIONS, AND AS THESE TRADING COMMUNITIES INCREASED IN WEALTH, PRESTIGE AND POWER, AS THEY FORMED RELATIONS WITH GOVERNMENTS AND GREAT INTERESTS IN THE COUNTRIES WHERE THEY OPERATED, THEY SIMPLY PUT MORE POWER INTO THE CENTRAL COMMUNITY WHEREVER IT MIGHT BE LOCATED...WHETHER BY INTENTION OR NOT, THEY BECAME MORE CLOSELY ALLIED THAN THE BRANCHES OF ONE BUSINESS COULD BE, because the cement of racial unity, the bond of racial brotherhood cannot in the very nature of things exist among the Gentiles as it exists among the Jews. Gentiles never think of themselves as Gentiles, and never feel that they owe anything to another Gentile as such. Thus they have been convenient agents of Jewish schemes at times and in places when it was not expedient that the Jewish controllers should be publicly known; but they have never been successful competitors of the Jew in the field of world-control.

They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches, none of them can by any means redeem his brother, or give a ransom for him...(Psalm 49:6,7).

Behold, these are the ungodly who prosper in the world: they increase in riches...(Psalm 73:12).

Her princes in the midst thereof are like ravening wolves after the prey, to shed blood and to destroy souls, TO GET DISHONEST GAIN...(Ezekiel 22).

Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven...

Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the Sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.

Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria (from the ancient East as far as America in the last days): thy nobles shall dwell in the dust: thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.

There is no healing of thy bruise; thy wound is grevious: all that hear the bruit of thee shall clap the hands over thee: for upon whom hath not thy wickedness passed continuously?...(Nahum 3:16-19).

FROM THESE SEPARATED JEWISH COMMUNITIES WENT POWER TO THE CENTRAL COMMUNITY WHERE THE MASTER BANKERS AND THE MASTER ANALYSTS OF CONDITIONS LIVED. AND BACK FROM THE CENTRAL COMMUNITY FLOWED INFORMATION OF AN INVALUABLE CHARACTER AND ASSISTANCE WHEREVER NEEDED. IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND HOW, UNDER SUCH A CONDITION, THE NATION THAT DID NOT DEAL KINDLY WITH THE JEWS WAS MADE TO SUFFER, AND THE NATION THAT YIELDED TO THEM THEIR FULLEST DESIRE WAS FAVORED BY THEM. AND IT IS CREDIBLY STATED THAT THEY HAVE MADE CERTAIN NATIONS FEEL THE POWER OF THEIR DISPLEASURE.

THIS SYSTEM, IF IT EVER EXISTED, EXISTS IN GREATER POWER TODAY. It is to-day, however, threatened as it has never been. Fifty years ago, international BANKING, which was mostly in the control of the Jews as the money brokers of the world, was on top of business. It exercised the super control of governments and finance everywhere. Then came the new thing. INDUSTRY, which expanded to a degree to a degree unguessed by the shrewdest prophets and analysts. As Industry gathered strength and power it became a powerful money magnet, drawing the wealth of the world in its train, not, however, merely for the sake of possessing the money, but of making it work. Production and profit on production, instead of loans and interest on loans, became the master method for a time. THE WAR CAME, in which the former broker-masters of the world had undoubtedly their large part. AND NOW THE TWO FORCES, INDUSTRY AND FINANCE, ARE IN A STRUGGLE AGAIN TO SEE WHETHER FINANCE IS AGAIN TO BECOME THE MASTER, OR CREATIVE INDUSTRY. This is one of the elements which is bringing the Jewish Question to the bar of public opinion.

And when Jesus went into the Temple of God, and cast out all of them that bought and sold in the Temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers and the seats of them that sold doves.

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the House of Prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves and merchants...(Matthew 21:12,13; Isaiah 56:7).

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultary, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Ba'al, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

And come and stand before me in this House, which is called by My Name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Is this House, which is called by My Name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord...(Jeremiah 7:1-11).

DOES A DEFINITE JEWISH WORLD PROGRAM EXIST?

"In all the explanations of anti-Jewish feeling which modern Jewish spokesmen make, these three alleged causes are commonly given--these three and no more: religious prejudice, economic jealousy, social antipathy. Whether the Jew knows it or not, every Gentile knows that on his side of the Jewish Question no religious prejudice exists. Economic jealousy may exist, at least to this extent, that his uniform success has exposed the Jew to much scrutiny. A few Jewish spokesmen seek to turn this scrutiny by denying the Jew is pre-eminent in finance, but this is loyalty in extremity. THE FINANCES OF THE WORLD ARE IN CONTROL OF JEWS; THEIR DECISIONS AND DEVICES ARE THEMSELVES OUR ECONOMIC LAW. But because a people excels us in finance is no sufficient reason for calling them to the bar of public judgment. If they are more intellectually able, more persistently industrious than we are, if they are endowed with faculties which have been denied us as an inferior or slower race, that is no reason for our requiring them to give an account of themselves. Economic jealousy may explain some of the anti-Jewish feeling: it cannot account for the presence of the Jewish Question except as THE HIDDEN CAUSE OF JEWISH FINANCIAL SUCCESS may become a minor element of the larger problem. And as for Social Antipathy--there are many more undesirable Gentiles in the world than there are undesirable Jews, for the simple reason that there are more Gentiles.

None of the Jewish spokesmen to-day mention the political cause, or if they come within suggestive distance of it, they limit and localize it. It is not a question of the patriotism of the Jew, though this too is very widely questioned in all the countries. You hear it in England, in France, in Germany, in Poland, in Russia, in Rumania--and, with a shock, you hear it in the United States. Books have been written, reports published and scattered abroad, statistics skillfully set forth for the purpose of showing that the Jew does his part for the country in which he resides (and herein lies the transgression, and the cause of God's great judgments against both Jews and Christians--not for being good citizens in the midst of these nations, but for compromising God's precepts and for partaking in the political, economic and military intrigues of these nations...BE TRULY SEPARATE); and yet the fact remains that in spite of these most zealous and highly sponsored campaigns, the opposite assertion is stronger and lives longer. The Jews who did their duty in the armies of Liberty, and did it doubtless from a true hearted love and allegiance, have not been able to overcome the impression made upon officers and men and civilians by those who did not.

But that is not what is here meant as the political element in the Jewish Question. To understand why the Jew should think less of the nationalities of the world than do those who comprise them is not difficult. THE JEW'S HISTORY IS ONE OF WANDERING AMONG THEM ALL. (Exactly)! Considering living individuals only, there is no race of people now upon the planet who have lived in so many places, among so many peoples as have the Jewish masses. THEY HAVE A CLEARER WORLD-SENSE THAN ANY OTHER PEOPLE, BECAUSE THE WORLD HAS BEEN THEIR PATH. AND THEY THINK IN WORLD TERMS MORE THAN ANY NATIONALLY CLOISTERED PEOPLE COULD. The Jew can be absolved if he does not enter into national loyalties and prejudices with the same intensity as the natives (as he has in the Middle East); the Jew has been for centuries a cosmopolitan. While under a flag he may be correct in the conduct required of him as a citizen or resident, inevitably he has a view of flags which can hardly be shared by the man who has known but one flag.

THE POLITICAL ELEMENT INHERES IN THE FACT THAT THE JEWS FORM A NATION IN THE MIDST OF THE NATIONS. Some of their spokesmen, particularly in America, deny that, but the genius of the Jew himself has always put these spokesmen's zeal to shame. And why this fact of Nationhood should be so strenuously denied is not always clear. IT MAY BE THAT WHEN ISRAEL IS BROUGHT TO SEE THAT HER MISSION IN THE WORLD IS NOT TO BE ACHIEVED BY MEANS OF THE GOLDEN CALF, HER VERY COSMOPOLITANISM WITH REGARD TO THE WORLD AND HER INESCAPABLE NATIONALISTIC INTEGRITY WITH REGARD TO HERSELF WILL TOGETHER PROVE A GREAT AND SERVICEABLE FACTOR IN BRINGING ABOUT HUMAN UNITY, WHICH THE TOTAL JEWISH TENDENCY AT THE PRESENT TIME IS DOING MUCH TO PREVENT. It is not the fact that the Jews remain a nation in the midst of the nations; it is the use made of that inescapable status, which the world has found reprehensible. The nations have tried to reduce the Jew to unity with themselves; attempts toward the same end have been made by the Jews themselves; BUT DESTINY SEEMS TO HAVE MARKED THEM OUT TO CONTINUOUS NATIONHOOD. BOTH THE JEWS AND THE WORLD WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT FACT, FIND THE GOOD PROPHECY IN IT, AND SEEK THE CHANNELS FOR ITS FULFILLMENT.

THEODOR HERZL, ONE OF THE GREATEST OF THE JEWS , WAS PERHAPS THE FARTHEST-SEEING PUBLIC EXPONENT OF THE PHILOSOPHY OF JEWISH EXISTENCE THAT MODERN GENERATIONS HAVE KNOWN. AND HE WAS NEVER IN DOUBT OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE JEWISH NATION. INDEED, HE PROCLAIMED ITS EXISTENCE ON EVERY OCCASION. HE SAID, "WE ARE A PEOPLE--ONE PEOPLE."...

HE CLEARLY SAW that what he called the Jewish Question was political. In his introduction to The Jewish State he says, "I believe that I understand anti-Semitism, which is really a highly complex movement. I consider it from a Jewish standpoint, yet without fear or hatred. I BELIEVE THAT I CAN SEE WHAT ELEMENTS THERE ARE IN IT of vulgar sport, of common trade jealousy, of inherited prejudice, of religious intolerance and also of pretended self-defence. I think the Jewish Question is no more a social than a religious one, notwithstanding that it sometimes takes these and other forms. IT IS A NATIONAL QUESTION WHICH CAN ONLY BE SOLVED BY MAKING IT A POLITICAL WORLD-QUESTION TO BE DISCUSSED AND CONTROLLED BY THE CIVILIZED NATIONS OF THE WORLD IN COUNCIL." (Herzl, of course, could not have imagined how all of this was to turn out by the end of the 20th century).

Not only did Herzl declare that the Jews formed a nation, but when questioned by Major Evans Gordon before the British Royal Commission on Alien Immigration in August 1902. Dr. Herzl said: "I will give you my definition of a nation, and you can add the adjective 'Jewish.' A nation is, in my mind, an historical group of men of a recognizable cohesion held together by a common enemy. That is my view of a nation. Then if you add to that the word 'Jewish' you have what I understand to be the Jewish nation."

Also, in relating the action of this Jewish nation to the world, Dr. Herzl wrote: "When we sink, we become a revolutionary proletariat, the subordinate officers of the revolutionary party; when we rise there rises also our terrible power of the purse." This view, which appears to be the true view in that it is the view which has been the longest sustained in Jewish thought, is brought out also by Lord Eustace Percy, and re-published, apparently with approval, by the Canadian Jewish Chronicle. It will repay a careful reading:

"Liberalism and Nationalism, with a flourish of trumpets, threw open the doors of the ghetto and offered equal citizenship to the Jew. The Jew passed out into the Western World, saw the power and the glory of it, used it and enjoyed it, laid his hand indeed upon the nerve centers of its civilization, guided, directed and exploited it, and then--refused the offer... Moreover--and this is the remarkable thing--the Europe of nationalism and liberalism, of scientific government and democratic equality is more intolerable to him than the old oppressions and persecutions of despotism...In the increasing consolidation of the western nations it is no longer possible to reckon on complete toleration...

"In a world of completely organized sovereignties he (the Jew) has only two possible cities of refuge: he must either pull down the pillars of the whole national state system or he must create a territorial sovereignty of his own. In this perhaps lies the explanation both of Jewish BOLSHEVISM and ZIONISM, FOR AT THIS MOMENT EASTERN JEWRY SEEMS TO HOVER UNCERTAINLY BETWEEN THE TWO.

"IN EASTERN EUROPE Bolshevism and Zionism often seem to grow side by side, just as Jewish influence molded Republican and Socialist thought throughout the nineteenth century, down to the Young Turk revolution in Constantinople hardly more than a decade ago--not because the Jew cares for the positive side of radical philosophy, not because he desires to be a partaker in Gentile nationalism or Gentile democracy, but because no existing Gentile system of government is ever anything but distasteful to him."

All that is true, and Jewish thinkers of the more fearless type always recognize it as true. The Jew is against the Gentile scheme of things. He is, when he gives his tendencies full sway, a republican as against the monarchy, a Socialist as against the republic, and a Bolshevist as against Socialism (keep going)...

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF THIS DISRUPTIVE ACTIVITY? First, his essential lack of democracy, Jewish nature is autocratic. Democracy is all right for the rest of the world, but the Jew wherever he is found forms an aristocracy of one sort or another. Democracy is merely a tool of a word which Jewish agitators use to raise themselves to the ordinary level in places where they are oppressed below it; but having reached the common level they immediately make efforts for special privileges, as being entitled to them--a process of which the late Peace Conference will remain the most startling example. The Jew to-day are the only people whose special and extraordinary privileges are written into the world's Treaty of Peace. But more of that at another time.

No one now pretends to deny, except a few spokesmen who really do not rule the thought of the Jews but are set forth for the sole benefit of influencing Gentile thought, that the socially and economically disruptive elements abroad in the world to-day are not only manned but also moneyed by Jewish interests. For a long time this fact was held in suspense owing to the vigorous denial of the Jews and the lack of information on the part of those agencies of publicity to which the public had looked for its information. But now the facts are coming forth. Herzl's words are being proved to be true.."

Just now these tendencies are working in two directions, one for the tearing down of the Gentile states all over the world, the other for the establishment of the Jewish state in Palestine. THE LATTER PROJECT HAS THE BEST WISHES OF THE WHOLE WORLD, BUT IT IS FAR FROM HAVING THE BEST WISHES OF THE WHOLE, OR EVEN THE LARGER PART OF JEWRY. THE ZIONIST PARTY MAKES A GREAT DEAL OF NOISE, BUT IT IS REALLY AN UNREPRESENTATIVE MINORITY. IT CAN SCARCELY BE DESIGNATED AS MORE THAN AN UNUSUALLY AMBITIOUS COLONIZATION SCHEME. It is doubtless serving, however, as a very useful public screen for the carrying on of secret activities. International Jews, the controllers of the world's governmental and financial power, may meet anywhere, at any time, in war time or peace time, and by giving out that they are only considering the ways and means of opening up Palestine to the Jews, they easily escape the suspicion of being together on any other business. The Allies and enemies of the Gentile nations at war thus met and were not molested. IT WAS AT THE ZIONIST CONFERENCE--the sixth held in 1903--THAT THE RECENT WAR WAS EXACTLY PREDICTED AND OUTCOME INDICATED, and the relation of the Jews to the Peace Treaty outlined.

That is to say, though Jewish nationalism exists, its enshrinement in a state to be set up in Palestine is not the project that is engaging the whole Jewish nation now. THE JEWS WILL NOT MOVE TO PALESTINE JUST YET; it may be said that they will not move at all merely because of the Zionist movement. QUITE ANOTHER MOTIVE WILL BE THE CAUSE OF THE EXODUS OUT OF THE GENTILE NATIONS, WHEN THE TIME FOR THAT EXODUS FULLY COMES...

THE CITY OF DAVID (ISAIAH 29; REVELATION 9:11).

As Douglas A. Cameron, late British Consul-General at Alexandria, a man fully in sympathy with Zionism and much quoted in the Jewish press, says: "The Jewish immigrants (into Palestine) will tire of taking in one another's washing at three percent, of winning one another's money in the family, and their sons will hasten by train and steamer to win 10 percent in Egypt...The Jew by himself in Palestine will eat his head off; he will kick his stable to pieces." UNDOUBTEDLY THE TIME FOR THE EXODUS--AT LEAST THE MOTIVE FOR THE EXODUS--IS NOT YET HERE.

The political aspect of the Jewish Question which is now engaging at least three of the great nations--France, Great Britain and the United States--has to do with matters of the present organization of the Jewish nation. MUST IT WAIT UNTIL IT REACHES PALESTINE TO HAVE A STATE, OR IS IT AN ORGNIZED STATE NOW? DOES JEWRY KNOW WHAT IT IS DOING? Has it a "foreign policy" with regard to the Gentiles? Has it a department which is executing that foreign policy? HAS THIS JEWISH STATE, VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE, if it exists, A HEAD? HAS IT A COUNCIL OF STATE? AND IF ANY OF THESE THINGS IS SO, WHO IS AWARE OF IT?

The first impulsive answer of the Gentile mind would be, "No" to all these questions--it is a Gentile habit to answer impulsively. NEVER HAVING BEEN TRAINED IN SECRETS OR INVISIBLE UNITY, the Gentile immediately concludes that such things cannot be, if for no other reason than that they have not crossed his path and advertised themselves.

The questions, however, answered thus, require some explanations of the circumstances which are visible to all men. If there is no deliberate combination of Jews in the world, then the control which they have achieved and the uniformity of the policies which they follow must be the simple result, not of deliberate decisions, but of a similar nature in all of them working out the same way. Thus, we might say that as a love for adventure on the water drove the Britisher forth, so it made him the world's great colonist. Not that he deliberately sat down with himself and in formal manner resolved that he would become a colonizer, but the natural outworking of his genius resulted that way. But would this be a sufficient account of the British Empire?

Doubtless the Jews have the genius to do, wherever they go, the things in which we see them excel. But does this account for the relations which exist between the Jews of every country, for their world councils, for their amazing foreknowledge of stupendous events which break with shattering surprise on the rest of the world, for the smoothness and preparedness with which they appear, at a given time in Paris, with a world program on which they all agree?

The world has long suspected--at first only a few, then the secret departments of the governments, next the intellectuals among the people, now more and more the common people themselves--that not only are the Jews a nation distinct from all the other nations AND MYSTERIOUSLY UNABLE TO SINK THEIR NATIONALITY BY ANY MEANS THEY OR THE WORLD MAY ADOPT TO THIS END, but that they also constitute a state; that they are nationally conscious, not only, but consciously united for a common defense and a common purpose. Revert to Theodor Herzl's definition of a Jewish nation, as held together by a common enemy, and then reflect that this common enemy is the Gentile world. Does this people which know itself to be a nation remain unorganized in the face of that fact? It would hardly be like Jewish astuteness in other fields. When you see how closely the Jews are united by various organizations in the United States, and when you see how with practiced hand they bring those organizations to bear as if with tried confidence in their pressure, it is at least not inconceivable that what can be done within a country--can be done, or has been done, between all the countries where the Jews live.

At any rate, in the American Hebrew of June 25, 1920, Herman Bernstein writes thus: "About a year ago a representative of the Department of Justice submitted to me a copy of the manuscript of 'The Jewish Peril' by Professor Nilus, and asked for my opinion of the work. He said that the manuscript was a translation of a Russian book published in 1905 which was later suppressed. The manuscript was supposed to contain certain 'protocols' of the Wise Men of Zion and was supposed to have been read by Dr. Herzl at a secret conference of the Zionist Congress at Basle. He expressed the opinion that the work was probably that of Dr. Herzl...He said that some American Senators who had seen the manuscript were amazed to find that so many years ago a scheme had been elaborated by the Jews which is now being carried out, and that Bolshevism had been planned years ago by Jews who sought to destroy the world."

This quotation is made merely to put on record the fact that it was a representative of the Department of Justice of the United States Government, who introduced this document to Mr. Bernstein, and expressed a certain opinion upon it, namely, "that the work was probably that of Dr. Theodor Herzl." Also that "some American Senators" were amazed to note the comparison between what a publication of the year 1905 proposed and what the year 1920 revealed. The incident is all the more preoccupying because it occurred by action of the representative of a government who to-day is very largely in the hands of, or under the influence of Jewish interests. It is more probable that as soon as the activity became known, the investigator was stopped. But it is equally probable that whatever orders may have been given and apparently obeyed, the investigation may not have stopped.

The United States Government was a little late in the matter, however. At least four other world powers had preceded it, some by many years. A copy of the Protocols was deposited at the British Museum and bears on it the stamp of that institution, "August 10, 1906." The notes themselves probably date from 1896, or the year of the utterances previously quoted from Dr. Herzl. The First Zionist Conference convened in 1897.... The Times noticed what will probably be the case in this country also that the Jewish defenders leave the text of the protocols alone, while they lay heavy emphasis on the fact of their anonymity. When they refer to the substance of the document at all there is one form of words which recurs very often--"it is the work of a criminal or a madman."

The protocols, without name attached, appearing for the most part in manuscripts here and there, laboriously copied out from hand to hand, being sponsored by no authority that was willing to stand behind it, assiduously studied in the secret departments of the governments and passed from one to another among higher officials, have lived on and on, increasing in power and prestige by the sheer force of their contents. A marvelous achievement for either a criminal or a madman! The only evidence it has is that which it carries within it, and that internal evidence is, as the London Times points out, the point on which attention is to be focused, and the very point from which the Jewish effort has been expended to draw us away. The interest in the Protocols at this time is their bearing on the question: HAVE THE JEWS AN ORGANIZED WORLD SYSTEM? WHAT IS ITS POLICY? HOW IS IT BEING WORKED?

These questions all receive full attention in the Protocols. WHOEVER WAS THE MIND THAT CONCEIVED THEM POSSESSED A KNOWLEDGE OF HUMAN NATURE, OF HISTORY AND OF STATECRAFT WHICH IS DAZZLING IN ITS BRILLIANCE AND COMPLETENESS, AND TERRIBLE IN THE OBJECTS TO WHICH IT TURNS ITS POWERS. Neither a madman nor an international criminal, BUT MORE LIKELY A SUPER-MIND MASTERED BY DEVOTION TO A PEOPLE...COULD BE THE AUTHOR, IF INDEED ONE MIND ALONE CONCEIVED THEM. IT IS TOO TERRIBLY REAL FOR FICTION, TOO WELL-SUSTAINED FOR SPECULATION, TOO DEEP IN ITS KNOWLEDGE OF THE SECRET SPRINGS OF LIFE FOR FORGERY.

Jewish attacks upon it thus far make much of the fact that it came out of Russia. That is hardly true. It came by way of Russia. It was incorporated in a Russian book published about 1905 by a Professor Nilus, who attempted to interpret the Protocols by events then going forward in Russia. This publication and interpretation gave it a Russian tinge which has been useful to Jewish propagandists in this country and England, because these same propagandists have been very successful in establishing in Anglo-Saxon mentalities a certain atmosphere of thought surrounding the idea of Russia and Russians. One of the biggest humbugs ever foistered on the world has been that foisted by Jewish propagandists, principally on the American public, with regard to the temper and the genius of the truly Russian people. So, to intimate that the Protocols are Russian, is partially to discredit them.

The internal evidence makes it clear that the Protocols were not written by a Russian, nor originally in the Russian language, nor under the influence of Russian conditions. But they found their way to Russia and were first published there. They have been found by diplomatic officers in manuscript in all parts of the world. Wherever Jewish power is able to do so, it has suppressed them, sometimes under the supreme penalty.

Their persistence is a fact which challenges the mind. Jewish apologists may explain that persistence on the ground that the Protocols feed the anti-Semitic temper, and therefore are preserved for that service. Certainly there was no wide nor deep anti-Semitic temper in the United States to be fed or that felt the need for agreeable lies to keep itself alive. The progress of the Protocols in the United States can only be explained on the ground that they supply light and give meaning to certain previously observed facts, and that this light and meaning is so startling as to give a certain standing and importance to these otherwise unaccredited documents. Sheer lies do not live long, their power soon dies. These Protocols are more alive than ever. They have penetrated higher places than ever before. They have compelled a more serious attitude to them than ever before.

The Protocols would not be more worthy of study if they bore, say, the name of Theodor Herzl. Their anonymity does not decrease their power any more than the omission of a painter's signature detracts from the art value of a painting. Indeed, the Protocols are better without a known source. For if it were definitely known that in France or Switzerland in the year 1896, or thereabouts, a group of International Jews, assembled in conference, drew up a program of world conquest, it would still have to be shown that such program was more than mere vagary, that it was confirmed at large by efforts to fulfill it. THE PROTOCOLS ARE A WORLD PROGRAM--THERE IS NO DOUBT ANYWHERE OF THAT. Whose program, is stated within the articles themselves. But as for outer confirmation, which would be the more valuable--a signature, or six signatures, or twenty signatures, OR A 25-YEAR UNBROKEN LINE OF EFFORT FULFILLING THAT PROGRAM?

The point of interest for this and other countries is not that a criminal or madman conceived such a program, but that, when conceived, this program found means of getting itself fulfilled in its most important particulars. The document is comparatively unimportant: the conditions to which it calls attention are of a very high degree of importance.The Protocols of Zion.
