(Israel and) The Nations of the Earth...

This people shall dwell alone, AND SHALL NOT BE RECKONED AMONG THE NATIONS...Numbers 23:9. (KJV).

Come Out From Among Them...(2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

Thou hast redeeemed us out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation ...(Revelation 5:9).

The biblical empires of the Western world since the end of the Atlantean age

(1) Egypt; (2) Assyria; (3) Babylon (the Chaldeans); (4) the Persians; (5) the Grecian; (6) the Roman; (7) the Holy Roman Empire and the Nation-states of Europe...and lastly, (8) the American Empire...(Revelation 17:9-11; Matthew 12:43-45).

Remember ye the Law of Moses my servant...(Malachi 4:4).

Now there arose a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:

Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, AND IT COME TO PASS, THAT, WHEN THERE FALLETH OUT ANY WAR, THEY JOIN ALSO UNTO OUR ENEMIES, AND FIGHT AGAINST US, AND SO GET THEM OUT OF THE LAND...(Exodus 1:8-10).

And Pharaoh said, who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice (Hebrews 12:25-29) to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.

And they (Moses and Aaron) said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go we pray thee, Three day's journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord our God; lest He fall upon us with pestilence and the sword.

And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye...let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens...(Exodus 5:1-4).

THE MYSTIC MOSES

Moses now begins to shepherd the flock of Jethro...The flocks which represent the thoughts and commands of the bad shepherd, have to be put in order by Moses, led into Justice. His relation to Jethro is like Jacob's to Laban, but is much better a type of the way in which the Good Shepherd will come and shepherd our flock. The allegory is an extended one of the divine power of salvation, and the divine care God exercises for those who come to him.

The experience at the burning bush is variously explained. In one passage Moses seems to be attempting as a man to solve the principle of cosmic causation when he approaches the burning bush with his shoes on. He is warned off the Holy ground of causation by God who has reserved knowledge of this for divine natures...

With his vision of God thus clarified, and with the practical assistance of Aaron,Moses now goes to Egypt to begin his great work. He returns to Pharaoh to struggle with him and ultimately destroy him. Pharaoh represents all that is bad (or subtle) in human nature, a lover of pleasure...and hence, with Egypt his country, represents the body in its worst form.

Captive in this country is the mind "fond of seeing," Israel, which at this stage is rather the mind "capable of seeing." The mind must be led out of Egypt if it is to get the vision; and it is Moses who, with Aaron, has the power to do this for man's higher nature. The salvation he brings the Israelites is one "where the helping principle of its own accord comes wholly from the outside to shield us after our own faculties have been quite destroyed."

As the people are thus united in one great collective act of migration they are made one; from being a multitude, or a tribe, or a people, they become an "ecclesia," a church, united not so much in body as in mind, intent, and spirit. The Passover is held at evening because of the significance of evening, the time of the fading of the material light at the coming of immaterial illumination....

In another passage Pharaoh is the king of the lower bodily mind in revolt against God. Not only is the mind engrossed in the complicated structure of pleasure, but it takes the higher mind, with all its possibilities of vision, and enslaves it. The higher mind groans heavily at this subjection and cries to God the only Saviour. In answer God commands, "Send forth the people that they may serve me." They type of service to which He calls them is not a menial one; it consists in going up to the aetherial heights with their reasonings, setting them before Moses, the type of existence beloved of God, to lead them on their way. THIS DAY I have begotten thee...Psalm 2:7; Revelation 7/Exodus 20:10-14.

Behold, I send an Angel before thee (a Cloud before, and a Fire behind), to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared...

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not: for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my Name (YHWH) is in him (YHShWH).

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice (see Revelation 10:1-7), and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

For mine Angel shall go before thee and bring thee into (the realm of Six nations--an allusion to the place numbered Six, and named Tipheret, or Beauty, on the Tree of Life), and I will cut them off.

Thou shalt not bow down unto their gods (even if they now worship their strange gods in the name of your God), nor serve them, nor do after their works, but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images (not literally, but from out of your own hearts and minds).

And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee...

Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

They shall not dwell in thy land (within the bounderies of your own thoughts), lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee...(Exodus 23:2-25; 32,33).

(God, of course, has many Names--a Name for every form, every principle and every manifestation through which They have revealed Themselves to the world since the time of Adam. Howbeit in every man is not this knowledge...1 Corinthians 8:1-7. Thus we must be wise, and walk circumspectly in these matters: Exodus 23:13. Make no images, however; do not get stuck in fixed forms. Do not be divided, from your own good spiritual sense of things, or from Reality itself--from the One God who dwells in All...Isaiah 6:1-3. Is God revealed in the principles of Tao? Of course. Are Indra and YHVH one and the same? Of course. Is Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva an earlier mainfestation of the Hebrew Trinity? Of course. Isis, Osiris and Horus? Of course. Did the Buddha attain Nirvanah? Of course. Did the One God reveal Themselves in the Christ Mystery? Of course. It is the Hebrew mind that understands it best. Does the Druid's Hesus and the Hindu Krishna merge together to form the name Jesus Christ? Of course. Is YHVH-ELohim and ALLaH one and the same? Of course. Is His name also Thor? Of course. Waken Tanka? Of course. Is God found in Fire? Of course. In the heavens? Of course. In the sky? Of course. In the elements of the Earth? Of course. On sea shores and oceans vast? On mountain tops? In woods and streams? In a field of flowers? In the Joys of Life? In the eyes of children? Of course, of course, of course. Everything is to be worshipped--not things, however, but the Divine Presence in all things. Is God also present in destruction? Of course. And in the armies of the earth? Absolutely. If one does not encounter God on the one Hand, they will encounter God on the other. If one does not encounter God in the Unity of all things, they will encounter God in the Division of things).

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a strange language.

Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

The sea saw it and fled, Jordan was driven back.

The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs...(Psalm 114).

__________

This I say and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their minds, having the understanding darkened, and being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their hearts...(Ephesians 4:17,18).

__________

Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work.

But the Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any (servile) work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates.

For in Six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and all that is in them, and rested the Seventh day, wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath Day, and hallowed it...(Exodus 20:8-11; Leviticus 23:1-8; Hebrews 4...KJV).

__________

And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people will I do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the Lord: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.

Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. (Again, Six nations, an allusion to the number Six itself, which corresponds in this ve rse to the center of the Oracle. It is the number of the planet earth itself. It is also the number of the unperfected, natural man who dwells upon it. The number Seven reaches spiritual perfection. With the number Eight the world is born anew).

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest (even if they now call themselves by the names of your God), lest it be a snare in the midst of thee. (See Luke 21:34,35).

But ye shall destroy their altars (not literally, but figuratively, out of your mind), break their images, and cut down their groves (again, not literally, but out of your own thoughts and affections...Hebrews 12:14).

For thou shalt worship no other god (no other philosophy, or nationalistic point of view): for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land (not only with the other nations, but with your own lower state of mind, whither thou goest over Jordan to overcome), and they (and you) go a whoring after their gods (their ways and beliefs, and after the great men among them who espouse those beliefs), and do sacrifice unto their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods...(Exodus 34:10-16; 1 Corinthians 10:20-23).

__________

Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land (the state of mind) whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.

AND YE SHALL NOT WALK IN THE MANNER OF THE NATIONS, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey (milk first, honey later...1 Peter 2::1-10; Isaiah 28:5-9; 1 Corinthians 3; Hebrews 5:10-14). I am the Lord your God, WHICH HAVE SEPARATED YOU FROM OTHER PEOPLE (your ways from their ways)...(Leviticus 20:22-26).

__________

Now these are the commandments and the statutes and the judgments which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and commandments, which I command thee, thou and thy son, and thy son's son all the days of thy life, and that thy days may be prolonged.

Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee in the land (in the state of mind) that floweth with milk and honey.

Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is One Lord. (They, the Divine Father and Mother, are ONE. They, in Their own essence, are all that exists. Invisible, They dwell in the sum of all visible things. [E=Mc2]. They have revealed Themselves throughout every generation in the sum of all natural and human events).

(Therefore) thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (Thou shalt love all that God is, and learn to cherish and protect all created things. Thou shalt love every living being. Thou shalt love justice and righteousness, and do it).

And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shall talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. (See Revelation 13:16-18).

And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which He sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and to Jacob (with the Matriarchs looking on, always keeping the thoughts of the fathers focused and in balance), to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildest not.

And houses full of good things which thou filledst not, and wells digged which thou diggest not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plandedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. (Understand Deuteronomy 28:68).

Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God (the God of All Nations), and serve Him, and shalt swear by His Name. (See Matthew 5:33-37).

Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

For the Lord thy God (who commands righteousness and justice), is a jealous God among you, lest the anger of Lord thy God (the God of All Nations) be kindled against thee (and He rise up in all of the affairs of humankind) and destroy thee from off the face of the earth...(Deuteronomy 6:1-15)...

And neither was it time yet to have all those things? Not until this age--the Age of Wickedness--is complete and the Rule of Darkness is over...(2 Kings 5:25-27).

When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land (the state of mind) whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, Seven nations greater and mightier than thou. (There are Seven nations listed in this text to indicate the Seven levels of human consciousness--Seven Natural Chakras; or the pathway through the Other Nations as it were--that each spiritual aspirant must overcome, open up, and transform on its way to spiritual perfection).

And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy to them. (Is the commandment to be taken literally here? Are we allowed to kill? To be unmerciful to others as the text suggests? Of course not. The commandment is allegorical, and is referring not to the peoples of these nations', but to their fallen ways, as well as to our own natural ways? These we must thoroughly destroy. Remember always, the wars of Israel are all fought in the battlefield of the heart and mind. They are internal battles. They are not fought against flesh and blood. 2 Corinthians 10:1-6...KJV. The battles of the Lord, on the other hand, are fought on the visible plain of human events, in full view of the whole world--nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and, in the end, against America itself--America: more Egypt than ancient Egypt, more Roman than ancient Rome, a nation-empire which has not only attempted to enslave the mind of Israel, and lead it off its own path , but which has made men to be as gods, and like God, in the process?...see 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, KJV).

Neither shalt thou make marriages with them: thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn thy son away from following me, that they may serve other (ideas and points of view), so will the anger of the Lord (all of Nature itself) be kindled against thee, and destroy thee suddenly.

But thus shall ye deal with them: ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. (All of these things must be accomplished in the heart and mind, not in the cities and on the streets of these nations).

For thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself...(Deuteronomy, chapters 7 and 8).

__________

Take heed that ye be not snared by following them...(Deuteronomy 12:29-32)

__________

When thou comest into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abomination of those nations...(Deuteronomy 18:9-13).

__________

We went down into Egypt with Threescore and Ten (70) persons, and now ye are as the Stars of Heaven for multitude...(Deuteronomy 10:22).

This is Jerusalem, I have set it in the midst of the Nations...Ezekiel 5:5; Deuteronomy, chapters 26 to 32.

Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying.

Moses my servant is dead (These things were done in types and images, with an eye toward future events, for the spirit of Moses is still with us [Matthew 17:1-7], as is the spirit of Jehoshua [Zechariah 3:1-8]. Those things which were written in the East must ultimately be fulfilled here in the West), now therefore Arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give them, even to the children of Israel.

Every place the Sole of your Foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

From the wilderness and This Lebanon even unto the Great River, the river Euphrates (the great River Ocean), all the land of the Hittites and unto the Great Sea toward the Going Down of the Sun, shall be your coast.

There shall not be any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee or forsake thee. (See I Corinthans 10).

Be strong and of good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee; turn not from it to the right hand or the left (neither to the fear and greed of the Conservatives, or to the unmindfulness and intellectual arrogance of the Liberals; to any of the ways of Ba'al, be they Republican or Democrat), that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. (How does the spiritual soul prosper? Only in the presence of righteousness and justice, and never in the absence of Wisdom and Understanding).

This book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.

Then Joshua (the literary prototype of the Christian mysteries) commanded the officers of the people, saying. Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within Three Days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in and possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it...(Joshua 1:1-11).

__________

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over the Jordan into the land of Canaan:

Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you (think deeply about the meaning of this commandment), and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places...

But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall come to pass, that those ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you as I thought to do unto them (now this must be taken seriously)...(Numbers 33:51-56).

__________

And it came to pass a long time after that the Lord had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age.

And Joshua called for all Israel, and for their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said unto them, I am old and stricken in age:

And ye have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto all these nations because of you; for the Lord your God is He that hath fought for you.

Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations I have cut off, even unto the great sea Westward.

And the Lord your God, He shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as the Lord your God hath promised unto you.

Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and do all that is written in the book of the Law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;

That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods (Whatever things and ideas they serve in place of the ways of the Living God, be they fame, power, wealth or glory, these, and those who practice them, are their gods), nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them.

But cleave unto the Lord your God (to the realities of Life), as ye have done unto this day.

For the Lord hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day...

Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.

Else if you do in any wise go back and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you (as it is in America today).

Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto thee, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given thee.

And behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth; and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.

Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things have come upon you, which the Lord your God hath promised you, so shall the Lord bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the Lord thy God hath given you.

When ye have transgressed the covenant of the Lord your God, which He commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which He hath given unto you...(Joshua 23).

__________

I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

Keep therefore and do them; for this is your Wisdom and Understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

For what nation is there So Great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon Him for.

And what nation is there So Great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things thine eyes have seen (such as the previous world-wars of the last century), and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy son's sons.

Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb (an event which forshadowed all the events of the 20th century...Exodus, chapter 19/ Hebrews 12:13-29; Jeremiah, chapter 25), when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children... Great Mystery Babylon (America).

Beware, therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets:

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise, though a man declare it unto thee...(Acts 13:40,41; Habakkuk, chapter 1).

And after these things I saw another Angel come down from heaven, having great Power; and the earth was lighted with his glory. (See 2 Thessalonians 1:4-10; Isaiah 66:15-18).

And he cried mightily with a strong voice (with the voice of every nation, and every people), saying, Babylon the great is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye recieve not of her plagues. (Understand 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. (See Isaiah 47).

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her...(Revelation, chapter 18).

The True Holy Nation

But in the last days it shall come to pass that the mountain of the House of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and people shall flow into it.

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the Mountain of the Lord, and to the House of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the Law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more...

Now why dost thou cry aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken hold of thee as a woman in travail.

Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon: there shalt thou be delivered; there the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies...(Micah 4:1-3, 9,10).

Sing, O barren, thou that didst not (already) bare; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child (out of due time): for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.

Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.

For thou shalt break forth on the Right hand and on the Left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited...(Isaiah 54:1-3).
